Our Story
ChickenRecipes.ca was born from a simple idea: Canadian families deserve a dedicated resource for their favourite protein. Chicken is the most consumed meat in Canada, yet finding reliable, tested recipes adapted for Canadian kitchens can be surprisingly difficult.
Our team includes home cooks from British Columbia to Newfoundland, each bringing their regional expertise and family traditions to our collection. Whether it is a classic butter chicken poutine from Montreal, maple glazed wings inspired by Ontario sugar shacks, or wild rice soup from the Prairies, every recipe tells a Canadian story.
We test every recipe at least three times before publishing, using ingredients readily available at Canadian grocery stores like Loblaws, Sobeys, Metro, Save-On-Foods, and Superstore. We include both metric and imperial measurements and specify internal temperatures in Celsius.
